We are seeking a Marketing Associate or Brand Specialist for an ongoing contract role that will develop into a full-time position.
Marketing Skills and Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop and manage engaging content across multiple platforms, including social media, emails, and blogs. Ensure our messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned with brand identity.
- Creative Design: Oversee and assist with crafting visual materials that resonate with our target audience.
- Event Planning: Assist in the planning and execution of events, webinars, and trade shows. Ensure smooth logistics, effective promotion, and follow-up to enhance event success.
- Social Media Management: Oversee and assist with development, scheduling, and engagement on our social media platforms. Monitor trends, track performance, and engage with our audience to grow brand awareness.
- Email Marketing: Support our creative team with the concepting, development, and scheduling of Klaviyo email campaigns.
- Public Relations (PR) and Communications: Support the drafting of press releases and coordinate inbound requests from our publicist and media outlets. Assist with public inquiries to build strong PR relationships.
- Partnership Marketing: Identify potential partners for collaborations, such as influencers or brands. Manage inbound requests for collaboration. Build and maintain relationships, coordinate campaigns, and execute partnership marketing initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director, Digital Strategist, Creative Assistant, and other team members to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with our brand’s vision and objectives.
- Product Marketing: Assist in product launches by developing relevant marketing collateral, coordinating with the product development team, and managing product-related campaigns.
- Learning and Development: Stay informed on the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies. Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a marketing role, internship, or relevant project work
- Fresh graduates with relevant coursework or volunteer experience are welcome to apply
- Strong copywriting and communication skills with the ability to create compelling and clear content for various platforms
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Figma is required; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including social media strategy, email marketing, and SEO
- Experience or interest in planning and executing events or trade shows is essential
- Ability to analyze marketing metrics, extract insights, and optimize campaigns for improved performance
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and collaborate with team members
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range
This role's base salary range is between $24/hr and $40/hr. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
