Job Description

Join the V Team! We are passionate about delivering exceptional design and user experiences, and we're looking for a talented Shopify Web Developer to join us in our mission.

We are seeking a Shopify Web Developer for a long-term, on-call relationship that could develop into a full-time position.

Technical Skills and Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Shopify: Manage Shopify themes and templates. Ensure the functionality, performance, and scalability of our Shopify store. Work on a range of ongoing projects that is creative, fresh, and on-brand.
• Customization and Integration: Customize Shopify themes and integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance store functionality and performance.
• 3rd Party Applications: Implement and customize third-party apps and integrations as needed.
• UI/UX Design: Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing UI/UX designs.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize site performance, ensuring fast load times and seamless user experiences. Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and fix bugs and issues in Shopify stores. Provide technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Coding Quality and Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in Shopify and e-Commerce integrations (Required)
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to quality outcomes
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and collaborate with team members
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range

• This role's base salary range is between $40/hr and $65/hr. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
